The breads are all naturally leavened = sourdough. They are the highlight of a pretty good show. The pain chocolat was a tyre puncture let down. The croissant dough drier than the sun ravaged median strip outside. The fruit tarts are a solid step above the very good standard elsewhere, to the very top of the quality mountain. More is more, and we want more!

Best sandwich ever! Not the cheapest but was absolutely gorgeous.Very helpful staff,it was so big we couldn’t eat it all and they kindly packaged them up so we could finish it later. Highly recommend.

Just had a delicious breakfast here. The formula is a glass of fresh juice, half a baguette with butter, homemade jam (and amazing butterscotch sauce an unexpected extra) a pastry and coffee. At 6.5 Euros very reasonable. Everything excellent quality served attractively and charming service. Highly recommend!

Unbelievably good. The best breakfast I have had. Generous. Delicious bread and pain au chocolat but to add to that freshly squeezed orange juice home made jam and a wonderful pot of caramel source. My only regret is that I am unlikely to return to Samur to enjoy it again. A real highlight.

Whenever we visit Saumur, a stop at Boulangerie Pâtisserie LM Gouzy is a must! Their products are consistently delicious and of high quality. Whether it's desserts or baguettes, everything is top-notch. The staff is always friendly and even recognizes us, which adds a personal touch to each visit.
